“Always Niseko is a wonderful discovery”
Staying at Always Niseko during our summer road trip through western Hokkaido was a fantastic, stylish highlight and provided the ultimate modern base for exploring the vibrant Niseko and Mount Yotei region. Situated in a peaceful area just a short drive from central Hirafu, pulling up in our rental car was smooth and easy, with convenient parking right on site that made hopping in and out for daily day trips completely stress-free. The hotel itself boasts a sleek, contemporary aesthetic with clean design, bright open communal spaces, and a wonderfully relaxed, welcoming energy. Our room was light-filled, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed to unwind after a full day of driving, hiking, and exploring local farmlands. Waking up each morning to views of the surrounding green forests and mountain air was immensely refreshing. Their stylish in-house restaurant and bar area provided a great atmosphere to grab a hot drink, enjoy a hearty breakfast, or chat about the day's travel plans with friendly staff who were eager to share local recommendations. Having such a comfortable, well-designed home base made exploring nearby landmarks like Rankoshi, Akaigawa, and Mount Yotei feel effortless. If you are road-tripping through the Niseko area and looking for a cool, convenient, and value-packed stay away from heavy resort crowds, Always Niseko is a wonderful discovery that fits seamlessly into a Hokkaido driving itinerary!

“An easy recommendation.”
The Always Niseko completely won us over. There's something about the vibe there that just melts the stress away — perfect after a long day of skiing. A few months ago I had the most memorable stay at The Always Niseko. The space was comfortable and well looked-after. “I had an amazing time staying at Always Niseko”
I had an amazing time staying at Always Niseko, and it truly came down to the outstanding staff. The hotel had everything needed for a ski trip: a free shuttle to the base, a drying room for skis and boots, adequately sized rooms, and great water pressure for those hot showers. One thing I especially appreciated was the smartly designed storage in the rooms, which made the most of the smaller space while still accommodating extra ski gear. The laundry facilities were also reasonably priced. Another bonus, usually only seen at high-end hotels, is the dedicated ski return through Rhythm. While ski rentals are handled at their well-equipped main store, returning them is seamless: all you need to do is drop them off in the room next to the drying racks. Again, the people truly made my stay amazing. From check-in, Natalie and Mudge were incredibly charming, helpful, and informative. And I can't forget Alexis super generous time he put in making a little surprise gift for a friend of mine just from a casual conversation we had had. The early morning front desk crew always greeted us with big smiles and cheerful assistance - shoutouts to George, Kai, and Claudia. I also enjoyed the music on the shuttle, courtesy of William, along with helpful advice from the other drivers, Casper and Ethan. Ebony, Cai, and Misato were equally cheerful. Even Ross in the back kitchen did a great job accommodating a few culinary requests. And Belle, over at the sister resort (where Always Niseko guests have access to the onsen), was a pleasure to chat with and full of great dining recommendations. Honestly, I couldn’t have imagined a better group of people for my ten-day stay. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area, and I hope to stay again!

“Views are perfect too.”
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone! Had a lovely stay. This one is a solid budget-friendly option compared to other hotels in Hirafu. The staff was incredibly helpful. Special shoutout to Alexis, who gave us some excellent recommendations that really improved our stay. Thank you! The hotel also provides a shuttle bus, which is very convenient. Views are perfect too.
